I am a classically trained artist with a passion for sharing the joy and discipline of art with others. Whether you're a young aspiring artist or an adult looking to refine your skills, I offer lessons designed to inspire, challenge, and help you grow.

WHY CLASSICAL ART TRAINING MATTERS
In today’s world, many art programs focus on contemporary trends, often overlooking the foundation of classical training. Yet, it’s this foundation—rooted in mastery of techniques, materials, and timeless principles of art—that unlocks the potential for creativity, expression, and a keen eye for excellence.
If you have ever felt cheated seeing art on exhibit that falls short of your expectations, it is most likely because the creator lacked this foundation.
I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Integrated Studio Art from one of the few universities in the US that still offers a strong classical art program. My training extended to mentorships like the Oatley Academy, led by industry veteran Chris Oatley, and I've stayed current in the fields of sci-fi and fantasy illustration. My work is recognized with awards and has been published in a best-of-the-year, top industry annual.
With this strong foundation, I’m excited to share what I’ve learned and help you or your child develop not only technical skill but also confidence and creativity.
YOUTH MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
I know firsthand how life-changing an art mentor can be. When I was a teenager, my mentor’s guidance gave me the skills, encouragement, and direction that shaped my path as an artist and a person. I want to pass that same gift on to the next generation.
My Youth Mentorship Program offers affordable, small-group classes for ages 8 to 18. These classes meet every Saturday morning or Tuesday night and focus on building foundational skills in drawing, painting, and other classical techniques. Students will learn to see the world through an artist’s eyes, approach challenges with creativity, and develop a lifelong love for art.
PRIVATE LESSONS
For those seeking a more personalized experience, I also offer private lessons for both kids and adults. Whether you're just starting out or looking to refine advanced skills, we’ll tailor each session to your needs and goals. This is a wonderful opportunity for focused growth and one-on-one guidance.
